Vote out 21 politicians and transform Singapore

RH: "There are only 21 Cabinet Ministers. If they are all kicked out at the next election, do you really think our citystate will grind to a halt or collapse?

That our schools will stop teaching; our markets stop selling fish; the HDB stop accepting your applications for flats; the police stop catching thieves?

Truth is, the political office holders are the MOST DISPENSABLE people in the country. Of the entire civil service and govt machinery, they do the least work because they are usually the least qualified, unlike lawyers for the legal services, doctors for the medical services, professors for the university courses, etc.

Politicians do nothing except play politics to stay in power. That is all they do and they do it very well, which is why many Singaporeans think they are indispensable.

Vote them out and give our citystate the first real opportunity for change in 50 years.

Then and only then will HDB prices come down to sane levels, NS reduced to 6 months to a year, our CPF accounts start getting real interest and grow big enough for our old age and medical needs, education more creative instead of rote-learning, the huge influx of foreigners slowed, the free scholarships to foreigners depriving our children of places in tertiary institutions -- in short, all the good things that the current 21 politicians refuse to even consider let alone bother to change.

Hongkong never had a LIE KY nor our 21 politicians and look at them! What HK can do we can, too, once these 21 politicians are kicked out.

It is time to vote them out, like so many countries are voting out long-ruling parties.

Vote them out! You will find that our citystate will continue business as usual without skipping a beat.

In months, you will wonder why you ever held these 21 politicians in thrall at all."
